UBUNYE GAME LODGE MURAL
The Graffiti Guys were invited to Ubunye Game Lodge to paint a new mural for their new paddle courts and club house. Ubunye is located between Bela-Bela and Thabazimbi in the foothills of the Waterburg mountains. Painting a graffiti mural in this type of scenery was something different from our usual projects in the city. Most of the painting was done before and after the midday summer sun.
We went for a warm and vibrant palette to try and capture the warm African sunset colours. The paddle racket was added because this is the new clubhouse for Ubunye along with their new paddle courts as well. The mural was painted with some base coats of acrylic pva and the rest of it was painted using Montana Cans spray paint.
